Juliet & Juliet

I occasionally read articles that suggest that women are naturally less aggressive and overall nicer than men. This is unfortunately contradicted by real-life experience, which suggests that women are bat-shit crazy and just as dangerous as men:

Carol Anne Burger killed her former lover by stabbing her 222 times with a Phillips-head screwdriver and then took pains to hide her crime, police said Wednesday.

In summary, it’s safer to assume that a woman would go crazy on you just as much as a man would since they are both human. Given that humans are naturally nuts, I suggest having as little face-to-face interaction with them as possible.

The light at the end of the tunnel

Monday, I saw and beat the last bit of raid content in The Burning Crusade. We spent all night working on Kil’Jaeden, and managed to kill him 3 minutes after our raid time ends. It was a nice gift before the server reset on Tuesday morning. Our regular raid then went last night, and we were planning on doing the first four bosses in Sunwell Plateau. The raid started off interestingly with three wipes to overpulling on trash, wasting our first half hour. A little bit of hangover from the night before I think…

After those wipes, we started wacking bosses left and right. One shots on all bosses up to M’uru, we accomplished our goal of four bosses with an hour to spare. Pushing forward, we nailed M’uru (second kill) in two shots and then 2-shot Kil’Jaeden as well. Even though it was an extra 5 minutes this time, we cleared all of Sunwell in a single night which is pretty awesome.

This means it’s time to farm achievements with 2 weeks to go until Wrath. Everytime I start getting bored with WoW, I find something new to do that sucks me in and makes my time in Azeroth enjoyable. Needless to say, Otter is pissed that my WAR CE is basically wasted. I need to see if I can sell the box of crap and just keep the account for later. I did cancel the subscription for WAR since I wasn’t able to get into it.

In this case, the light at the end of the tunnel turned out to be a train of alternate (Achievements) and new (Wrath) content coming my way.

Taken to heart

It’s funny how books can sometimes define and explain your life so much more clearly than you ever could on your own.

It’s a terrible thing. Knowing your Jacob when you don’t even think your Edward exists. Knowing you can’t give Jacob what he wants but not willing to let him go or chase him away. He wouldn’t go if you tried in any case, but you know you wouldn’t even be able to try for his sake.

You’ve both made your choices and you can’t stop the way you feel.

It’s a terrible thing, and I have to live with that.
