It might be a hint OtherBro…

Dear Tech support,

Last year I upgraded from Boyfriend 5.0 to Husband 1.0 and noticed a distinct slow down in overall system performance, particularly in the flower and jewelry applications, which operated flawlessly under Boyfriend 5.0.

In addition, Husband 1.0 uninstalled many other valuable programs, such as Romance 9.5 and Personal Attention 6.5 and then installed undesirable programs such as NBA 5.0, NFL 3.0 and Golf Clubs 4.1.

Conversation 8.0 no longer runs, and Housecleaning 2.6 simply crashes the system. I’ve tried running Nagging 5.3 to fix these problems, but to no avail.

What can I do?

Signed, Desperate.

DEAR DESPERATE,

First keep in mind, Boyfriend 5.0 is an Entertainment Package, while Husband 1.0 is an operating system. Please enter command: ithoughtyoulovedme. html(link) and try to download Tears 6.2 and don’t forget to install the Guilt 3.0 update. If that application works as designed, Husband 1.0 should then automatically run the applications Jewelry 2.0 and Flowers 3.5. But remember, overuse of the above application can cause Husband 1.0 to default to Grumpy Silence 2.5, Happy Hour 7.0 or Beer 6.1. Please note that Beer 6.1 is a very bad program that will download the Snoring Loudly Beta.

Whatever you do, DO NOT install Mother-In-Law 1.0 or Sister-In-Law 1.0 (they run a virus in the background that will eventually try to seize control of all your system resources.)

Also do not attempt to reinstall Boyfriend 5.0 program. These are unsupported applications and will crash Husband 1.0.

In summary, Husband 1.0 is a great program, but it does have limited memory and cannot learn new applications quickly. You might consider buying additional software to improve memory and performance. We recommend Cooking 3.0 and Hot Lingerie 7.7.

Good Luck,

Tech Support

  1. Hay gosh darn it! i am way more advanced than that guy!! OH NO!! ERROR 8573… Rebooting in 5…4…3…2…1 Powering Off

  2. remember you are still BF 5.0. The real test comes when you upgrade to fiance. I think going with Fiance 1.0 would be better than going with Husband 1.0. I tried Fiance 0.5 and that was rather sad, buggy as WoW on patch day but not nearly as enjoyable after patch patches were applied.
Husband 2.0 should be the minimum requirement imo. I figure you will hit Husband 2.0 easily, if not there is always the servicepack, Daddy 4.6.

  3. hay i am running BF/Fiance 3.87 it is a multipack!

  4. I saw this a while back, pretty funny.

My problem is when ever I try and run Dating 6.57, it’s a two player app, the other client always gets an error in the crazy section. Such as ERROR: NO-TIME4U. I tried looking up to see what exactly causes it but to no avail. Otherwise the FunGirl 2.4 interface somehow gets switched to CockTease 3.8, and when that happens you have to abort the program.

  5. CockTease 3.8 :( That’s installed in all versions of Wife. The only issue with the Crazy release is you have to boot to CD basically to use it so that you can get rid of it before it infects your harddrive.

  6. I’va had issues with CockTease 3.8 as well. The program Boyfriend 2.341somehow linked its usage with CT 3.8 which made B 2.341 completely useless to me. Had to scrap B 3.41 and upgrade to 3.59. Not nearly as many problems with that version. :)

  7. I’m so glad I have Houseboy. It doesn’t have near as many issues.

  8. What version Naye? Houseboy 1.3 was broken when I tried it. :-\
