Cats and Dogs

It rained today. The last two weeks have been odd since there were actual clouds in the sky, but something dropped today. I say something because it’s not rain as I know it back home. It’s mud, dropping straight from the sky onto my vehicle.
Another thing that you don’t really notice around here after a bit is the dust. On highly trafficed areas, the dust is simply not as thick and so it looks clean. When the rain comes down though it turns into the slipperiest crap you have ever walked on. Taking a shower doesn’t do much good when you slip and fall on your ass afterwards…
