I have a draft of a nice long post, and all I keep thinking about is running my own guild. It’s a fucking stupid idea honestly for the following reasons:

1) I can’t dedicate the time to be hardcore no matter how much I want to be.

2) I hate people. Seriously. People are retarded. Not the best idea for a GL when you hate everyone. Unless they have the same goal as me, in which case I can live with them.

For the Burning Crusade, a good guild size will be about 35-40 people tops. Not to many backups, but enough to fill in the raid when a regular takes a break/has RL issues. I want to be in that dedicated guild with 4-7 nights of raiding a week, bleeding gold on the hard fights for server firsts. More thoughts on that in the other post (it’s coming), but I want 25 people that feel the same way with some casuals that can fill in. Maybe I can practice being nice over the next couple of months…

14 days, 9 hours and 16 minutes.

So yeah, Snow is 60, and 32 minutes before raid time to boot. I had more than 1 nay-saying shammie too. Shammies need to be more supportive. I should have made a bet or something… doh 12 hour push, 5 hours of work, 1.5 hour panic and then… yeah. lol First instance at 60? Nope, not Scholo. BWL. boggle I totally thought it would be MC, but nope, Friday night is BWL night.

Did MC tonight, well, up to Garr. I had a previous engagement with Dis, but wasn’t sure what time he would be back so I decided to help out or bench-sit until he got home. Well, I got on the wl (waitlist) and didn’t think i would be needed, but about 10 min later was on a bat to Kargath. lol, dropped off Gehennas, and off Garr. Did I i get them? bah! Negatory! I always get a weapon first! off Gehennas. Upgrade from / yay!

sigh 60 for a day and already 9 dkp in the hole. Good grief. Sorry OtherBro. I’m not giving this up for a good long while. >.>

It’s all new. New raid times, new point systems, new item values… WAY new /ra chat… WOW, Jed and Lekar would be sooo at home here. Good LORD we have some sketchy characters lol. sooo funny. sigh and now we’ll be working around my weird raid times and work schedule, but we shall see.

You wake up at about 0545. As you step out of the tent 15 minutes later, you notice that it’s a little darker this morning than usual. A quick glance at the sky tells you that it’s due to a nice thick overcast. You’d think it was fog, but remember where you are. It’s dust. Thick, choking dust that you can feel coating your nasal passages as you breath. You’ll take that, since otherwise it’s flowing straight into your lungs. Visibility is under a thousand meters. Your mind insists that since there’s very little sun, it should be cool. It is, but only in comparison, and the heat is already starting to build. It’s going to be a long day.

“humble? I think not?”

You guys really piss me off sometimes you know that? And you wonder why I have a bad self-image lol.

I’m freaking awesome. I’m smart, I’m fun, I’m very pretty, I’m great to talk to, I’m an amazing girlfriend, and I will be an awesome wife and mother. Ask any of my EXes lol, better yet, ask my EX’s parents who have told me to my face, their sons don’t deserve me. ANY guy would be lucky to have me, why do you think they all get SO attached, and take so long to get over me?

There’s a great reason you guys know nothing about my love life until months after something happens (ask me no questions, I will tell you no lies), it careens out of control (and then you sometimes still don’t know lol), or there are rings on my fingers (which there aren’t any yet)… or Naye tells you about it (don’t laugh, you know it’s true).

If you guys got these threats you’d be all “woe is me what did I do?” and wonder why the brothers hate you when you didn’t do anything. Guess what guys, it’s a helluva lot more dangerous for me to go about dating without you guys being aware, but it isn’t really worth it for me to keep you in the loop. lol. Think about that. If I want his legs broken, I am more than capable of doing it myself, AND I will know when he deserves it.

No thanks Nayenaye, you may keep your brothers, I’m good. I do keep my bros in separate states.

Rith, Thanks for the prayers (and the sacrifices ;))!! As always, much appreciated. I need a puppy… and I am sooo close. If I get a sublet, I’ll get Fizzy in January so I don’t have to leave it with Ms Yoga for TG and x-mas break a month away when you are still training = not a good idea imo!

Otherbro: guys are guys. Doesn’t matter color, size, shape, ethnicity, none of it changes anything. Yes, US guys are >.> generally not so uber, but then neither are other guys. ALL guys are TACG, only some are worth it, but you’re not going to find out if they are unless you give them a chance. I’m pretty merciful. I generally give guys at least 1, if not 2 or 3 depending on behavior and nature of screw up chances. Do they deserve it? Most times no. but I don’t deserve Eternal Life and I have that, so what’s the harm in doing what I am supposed to do as a Christian Woman?

Am I being arrogant? Nope. I’m recognizing my worth as a Woman. I’m not lying or putting myself down (which really annoys some ppl go figure) for once, I’m stating facts. Yo can’t hide those under a burka or lock them in a tower (which btw was more for the protection of the world… not me :P), I shine wherever I am.

So, if ya don’t mind (and even if you do), plz stop implying i’m arrogant when that is obviously not true. I’ve never said I am better than anyone else, or put anyone down to make myself feel better about myself.

Well, while most people are either having issues from cold turkey-ing raiding, or in complete extract about new lives… I’m in limbo. Kinda like a lot of other things with my life right now, everything is up in the air. Some of it seems to be settling, but we shall see.

NEway the point: I MISS C’THUN!!! :’( I can’t even explain to ppl how UBER the encounter is; I can’t even pinpoint what it is… I just miss him. He’s so much fun. My fave encounter in the game. Maexx comes close (and Haegen if I have no lag >.>) but C’thun is just soooooo much fun!

I’ve cut back sooooo much these last 3 weeks lol! I’ve been spending Friday evenings out with my boss (who shall henceforth be named Ms. Yoga), having a blast. I’ve been slowly getting my wardrobe cleaned up. After the mall we watch some TNG or a random movie and eat dinner. Next week: Pancakes and Alcohol. No worries, she drove me home last night. We have a lot of fun
together and she recently offered her spare room to me… I can get a puppy. faint swoon

But first I would have to find a sublet for my apartment. My roomie doesn’t want to move, and doesn’t have any friends still looking for an apartment, so we will have to advertise a bit and see what we can get together. Ms. Yoga’s apt is a bit bigger… with lots more storage space! I need a puppy soooo badly. Though supportive (and even more enthusiastic than I am about this…), Dis remembers my statement about “once I get a puppy good luck guys…� Heh, I told him he’d proly not have to worry much if he caught me before I got Fizzy.

Every time I think about getting all the rest of my boxes together from various aunts and uncles and g-rents… I realize I still can’t do it for a year and a half at the very earliest. Can’t wait for college to be over. If I really work my rear off I can be done by next Christmas, just in time to open a world of possibilities for me.

…So what started as an: I MISS C’THUN! Statement kinda turned into a ramble… I need to sleep more…

Oh, and atm I am wearing the dress I wore to Uru’s wedding… I’ve lost that much weight… but I fill it out more elsewhere… Lucky future hubby of mine!

Yuck, first day back at work from a break, gotta hate those. I spent four days hanging out with Otter, playing WoW (fighting the gd computer), watching Lost, and playing Zelda.

The slow improvement continues. My big goal for the four days was to get to artisan (225+) cooking with Eliz. Made it to 225, now I just need to do the quest and get the crap out of my bank to cook up. The marginal upgrades continued with two BRD runs netting

(up from ) and (up from of Power). Unfortunately, there was lots of wiping in the Lyceum as some people just won’t flippin’ listen to directions. By the third time, you’d think the stupid priest would understand “stay on top of me, I know where the hell I am going” but no, let’s back up into the repops. Grrrr. You’d also think it’d be cake with a mage and TWO MC equipped Warlocks (6/8 Felheart both), but all that firepower doesn’t do crap when the only healbot in the group has Intelligence issues. I also picked up the , my tanking set is surprisingly solid given the (lack of) time that I have put into it.

My UBRS run also ended badly with four tries at Drakk. I did get

to progress the Ony key chain along though. His upgraded my in the DPS set. My last group for the week was a Duke farming group, and I lost out on (which is what I was there for) but picked up of Striking in a huge upgrade from .

In other news, Lost is actually a pretty good show. Otter and I had seen Episode 9 in Season 2 and could hardly makes head or tails of what was going on, but seeing everything straight through is the way to go. Now it all makes sense. For episodic stuff like that and 24, I think seeing the entire season at once is the way to go. The only danger is that you know you have the next episode just waiting to go, and you can’t stop watching until really late at night.

How good is Zelda? Let’s just say, when I started it up and Otter heard the music going, she actually tore the controller out of my hands and played. Granted, it was only 10 minutes but it made this geek very happy. Her main problem with Wind Waker is that “there isn’t enough fighting.” That’s my girl!

So, Friday night was the first night in 40 Fridays that I haven’t played WoW, banged my head against a wall for 8 hours straight, or gotten annoyed with a LOT of stupid people.

It was great!

After work, my boss and I went to… dun dun dun… the MALL! I wasn’t paranoid like last time when we were looking at rings. I didn’t have a curfew at 9pm. We shopped, we searched… I found the suit I needed (booyah!) and then we had fun trying on dresses! We had a blast.

Go figure the mall closes at 9 (I mean really, who closes a mall on friday night at 9pm!?), so we thought about seeing a movie but all the good ones had already started. So we went back to her house to watch STAR TREK!!! (Season 7 ep. 260), kick back, chilaxin’ with some good ol’ Smirnoff (Fizzy forgives me). Sooo fun… We still have Dillards, Sears, and JC Penny’s to check out next week. Thanks to OtherBro, I got everything on camera.

By the time I got the call to come home I was perfectly fine, no mishaps. For the last 40 weeks, finding time to spend with certain ppl has been effortless. Our schedules were centered around our raiding. schedule >. Once I hit 60 on Snow, my weekends will also center around raiding, but that’s ok. It will suck not having someone to talk to and share the experience with, but I think these next three months will be good in some ways.

Gogo

! Last night’s ST run netted me the last Voodoo Feather that I needed, as well as a few other goodies. Weapon skilling will now proceed with my of the Monkey. Grinding leather and weapon skills will now occupy the rest of my time here (unless people are crazy enough to accept me into groups). I actually managed MTing with about 3s of lag, by which I mean a level 60 tank and a BWL’d Priest in a level 52 instance can get through some crazy lag spikes regardless of the rest of the group. I also picked up off of Hakar’s avatar. I just dled TankPoints so I can start comparing gear for tanking and go for those marginal increases. It’s funny to see some of the comments which go into chat when I switch to my tanking gear with mace and board. A jump of 1300 HP can startle people

In other news, I just approved my first spam post. At least, I think it’s spam… Ah well, I’ll support the 49ers anyways possible even if I am looking at another long season of bottom dwelling.

I also figured out what the (current) problem with my laptop is. It’s overheating again. I know, I know, big surprise when outside it’s 115+ and the air conditioning brings the temperature inside doewn to a frosty 80ish. Then, take a beast of a laptop, sprinkle some fan problems on top, and you have nice recipie for pieces of the motherboard to fry themselves and/or separate at high temperatures. I am seriously considering going back to a desktop when I get back to the States. Pros: Much easier to upgrade and care for. Cheaper. Bigger screen drool Cons: No portability (“Uru, come watch TV with me!!” is a lot easier to do with a laptop.) It’s another piece of hardware in a room already full of electronic toys.
