My tablet got shipped early this morning (Iraq)/late last night (US). I’m really looking forward to getting it as I have several drawings written out right now that I want to get sketched out.
I do have a couple of things that I did for a friend that may or may not see posting before next Feb, but we’ll see on those.
i am thinking that i might go for the clip board that records everything you do, insted of that tablet, you will have to tell me how it works and such because the one thing that i really like about the clipboard one is that you don’t need the computer on and connected to it for use, it has internal memory
Can you give a link? I don’t remember ever seeing the clipboard that you are talking about. The tablet is good for me because I am doing a lot more in Photoshop and am looking at doing Illustrator for the lineart part of stuff. So, I only ever do stuff when the computer is on in the first place so the tablet was a good choice.
I am actually finding that the 4×5 tablet is a good size. As I get used to the tablet, and get better at drawing, I may want a bigger tablet but right now this one is perfect.
yah i have been looking into them for a while now, i have to go through my links and find the clipboard one, soo i should be able to get it to you by the end of the week, but from what i have seen they look pritty spiffy, i was thinking of using the one you have for art and such, but also if it worked with turbo cad that would be nice because i use that for work
i just got back from my Linux class and i was looking through one of my magz that i get from different website and i found it so here it is!!

if you think about it, it is damn cool because you would not need to copy everything you write down to have on the computer it would already be there once you connected you cool little pad!!
and it is only a hundred bucks with shipping basically, i have no idea if they would send it to your apo box though
and you can add mem to it via the flashcard reader, damn cool!!
Huh. That does look cool. I use a PDA (*cough* sometimes…) when I’m trying to take notes like that though. Or, I use an old laptop running DSL for simple texting/notetaking.
yes well if i don’t have a PDA, and can’t afford one, but would like my notes to be turned digital by themselves i think it might work, i would take my computer to class but linux is to crazy to take good notes on a compy!!
