I had a nice long post about how I chose to what class to play. Then I read it.

What it all comes down to is I want (need?) to feel needed in a game like WoW. Oh, I don’t need to be #1 on the DPS/Healing/Epeen meter, but I want to be a significant factor in the success of whatever we are doing. This usually details having/playing a class that other people don’t want to. At some point though, other people figure out the same thing and roll their own copies…

So, sucks to be a Mage now since everyone on the server has a 60 Alt and think they can do a better job than me. I have a Warrior, and I know I’m good at the tanking game, but people don’t think they need tanks when they pick up Random_Warrior_567 who insists on tanking with 2H and Berserker. Whatever class I level to fill in spots in the raid will be competing with the alts of people who had the exact same idea.

What’s all that come down to? Fork if I know. I’ll be at the Ruins trying for my
