Yes, yes, I troll so you don’t have to, blah blah, etc. etc. ANYways, one of the big guilds changed course again. Conquest, beginners of the chase through MC, left WoW a short time ago to take a swing at EQII.

We really tried to buckle down, grit our teeth, and give EQ2 a good solid go. In the end though, the interest just wasn’t there. In the endless debate of quantity vs quality, it would appear that quality is the more important of the two.

On the bright side though our current roster is possibly the most talented group we’ve ever had. Less then a week after returning we’ve picked up where we left off, and then some.

Then some is downing Nef a week after being at Firemaw (50%). Color me green. Various issues with EQII included itemization, mob/encounter design, and itemization. I’d like to gloat and say I told them so, but I didn’t. And really, I’m too much of an addict to look at anything else with a uncritical eye. There’s another post in there somewhere…
