Fat list of WoW blogs
With the gazillions of blogs out there, you know that one or two of them have stuff to with WoW. There is one thing in common for most of the blogs which makes Baby Uruloki cry, we’ll discuss that later. So, here’s the list in alphabetical order with where they are in the game. Instead, here are three alphabetical lists of the the living, the dead, and dying.*

- The WoW Informer – Everything was information on the game.
Most of these I found after following links from other blogs. The alternate post title was “I go link chasing so you don’t have to.” Pretty much all of the blogs have very cool custom templates at the very least, if not WoW related. Also, a lot of the better blogs are run by folks that are doing MC on a consistent basis. So, that explains why I have Jayd posting here, to give myself some credibility.
*Living is updated within the last month, Dying is two months, Dead is anything past that.
Edit: Thanks to Broken Toys, I have another blog to add to the nice fat list of WoW blogs. Others take exception to the title of “WoW Insider” though:
F for effort, guys.
cough How’s that for cherry picking a quote that needs context? jluster raises a lot of good points, but in the way of “you guys suck for not doing it.” Maybe he should be the one to be doing posts and shizz? I dunno, since that’s one of two possible WoW posts (three counting the Coke thing) on his site. Me, I’ll stick to writing my own random crap and posting updates to them so I can get trackback whoreage. Now that’s fucking farming.
And maybe he’ll find something he likes on the Fat List. Maybe, because it looks like he’s looking for class/BG/quest guides in blog format, which that “World of Warcraft” page is going to turn into. Maybe. When I ding 180 (3rd 60 to be clear).
Edit 2005.12.14: Changed the link from Just Joshin’ to stealthpenguin.net/wow to reflect that he’s moved the WoW blogging from his site to a spinoff.
Also, I’ve done some more research on the WoW Insider blog. Read the post about it.
Edit 2005.12.15: Added the LJ community link
> Maybe he should be the one to be doing posts and shizz?
Done, and done. As someone commented on, I used to be too close to WoW and Blizzard for blogging comfort, so writing about it wasn’t an option (other than the “yay, go us for releasing another bug” posting). That out of the way, and thanks to being an “inane, ranting, noob, a-hole”, I was asked to work on a WoW-centric site with feature articles and weblogs (for players, etc.). We’ll see how that goes. Just slap me, when I talk crap, I’d deserve it as much as the WoW Insiders
Good deal, I did not know that. I’ll definitely be looking for the new WoW-centric site. I probably could have gotten a better gauge of your WoW experience by looking at your flickr account, since anyone who takes a UD on the Deeprun Tram is certifiable, and has been playing long enough to get really bored.
Thanks for the link to my blog, and the many links to others – that’ll fill my blogroll
