Not a whole lot happened this year. As a matter of fact, even less happened than last year, where I hung out with everyone at Roki’s house and we played WoW until ungodly hours. This year, instead of a full turkey, I bought a turkey breast. We didn’t even remember to defrost the damn thing.
Pretty much everything was a let down after the huge plans to go home to visit the folks fell through. So, it was just Otter and I for Christmas, which TBH is all I need. Also on the positive side, the day after we were scheduled to leave on the canceled trip, I completed the Part 61 checkride for my PPL. This upcoming weekend will be the first time that I get to fly Otter as a passenger in a plane and I am really looking forward to it.
Best gift: Otter was here. She wasn’t here last year (here = with me) and she’ll probably not be here next year.
