The end game

In between the guttersweepings that are the denizens of the WoW forums, there is the occasional well-reasoned post.

The World of Warcraft end game is a complete joke at this moment in time. It is ridden with bugs and plagued with poor itemization and ridiculous time vs reward investment. A guildmate of mine uses the phrase “luck >>>>>>> time” to define the endgame itemization in this game. Why on earth are bosses in Stratholme and Scholomance not dropping better items than I find in Blackrock Depths? On top of that, why am I forced to clear multiple hours with a high risk of some shade perma-evading and wiping my raid so that I can have a .03% chance at getting an epic Runeblade or spiffy horse?

My feelings on the end game are currently summed up in the following phrase: “I hate that fucker Voone.” This is becoming a guildy’s and my most often repeated phrase after we have killed him for the sixth time to get the craptacular Flightblade Throwing Axe and Rosewine Circle in place of the gem that we need to get to UBRS. You’ll notice that the drop rate for the Circle is actually lower than that of the gem, but we’ve gotten that four times out of six so far. So, the end game for me has consisted of repeated runs to “kill that fucker Voone” and leveling up my alts. I don’t even want to think about the grind that Molten Core and Onyxia are going to be.

  1. You know you enjoy grinding! Give me until the end of the week – at which time I should be awfully close to 60. I’ll grind with you…which will still be work for you, but I’ll certainly do my best to up the enjoyment level!

Btw, no Battlegrounds complaints! That’s where I want to be and the thing I’m most disappointed with. Put them in the game plz thx.
