…it’s a bad idea. Former Secratary of State Medeleine Albright back s foreigners for President.
“We are a country of immigrants. I think that it would be not a bad thing to try to figure out how to allow foreign-born people to become president,” Albright told the Little Rock Rotary Club while in town to attend the opening of Bill Clinton (news – web sites)’s presidential library.
Supporters of California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger (news – web sites) have started an effort to amend the Constitution to allow immigrants to run for president. Schwarzenegger was born in Austria. Albright was born in Czechoslovakia.
Ummmm, no. Not even the Governator should be allowed to run for President. Why the hell is everyone so fired up to change the Constitution so much lately.
Cuz ppl suck ass…always trying to change things that have worked for years…all to make there lives more convenient for them! No one cares about tradition or just using common sense these days.
I guess its whinny ass ppl like that, that make the world go round.
Sure wish that we could them as lubricant for the wheels instead of the motive power…
In this case, I don’t really have anything against foreigners per se. It’s just that opening it up to naturalized citizens creates a whole new bucket of worms where we have to ask how long does it take to really become an American citizen. It would be opening the doors to people like George Soros, who would like nothing better than to buy the most powerful position in the history of the world.
