One of the most cherished canons of Leftists has fallen as Harvard prof proves poverty does not breed terrorism:

That is a cluebat to the main argument of the appeasement crowd, who believes the only reason that the displaced Arabs and others in the Middle East participate and celebrate in terrorism is due to poverty. The Armorer comments as well, with Lee of Right-Thinking pointing out that

… terrorists and thugs have always been wealthy. Lenin, Guevara, Michael Moore… all are priviledged children of educated families who never wanted for anything. All of the 9/11 hijackers were from middle class families or better. If poverty causes terrorism, where are the Mexican, Haitian, or Chinese terrorists? The common denominator between all contemporary forms of terrorism is militant Islamofascism.
