Treat ‘em equal

John Kerry finally decided to stand up for someone, it’s just to bad its the wrong person. Yesterday, he warned against “attacking” his sugar momma. Now, someone defending his wife is all well and good, but not if she’s out there playing the game. If she was like Laura Bush, who doesn’t go around spending millions on 527s and accusing the VP of being unpatriotic, Kerry would have a legitimate beef.

Worth an estimated $500 million, born in Mozambique and fluent in five languages, Mrs. Kerry can be controversial and blunt, disclosing her Botox injections, her prenuptial agreement with Kerry and the fact he was in the bathroom when he got word of his wins in Iowa and New Hampshire.

“If they want to attack her, they’re going to have to go through me. I’ll be the first to defend anything she does. … She doesn’t pull her punches,” Kerry said in one television interview when asked if Republicans were targeting his wife.

Doesn’t pull any punches huh? Is that how she keeps him in line? Sure doesn’t sound like someone who needs to be protected in the best French fashion, by putting opponents to sleep in diplomatic meetings.
