So nuanced
Flipping through the channels, stop on FNC. “Well, who’s Sean beating up today? Ahh, it’s a Kerry staffer, wonder if she can answer any better than Kerry.”
Sean: “Why does Kerry say X one day and not X on the next day? Can’t he be direct?”
Her: “He never said that, blah blah blah, he’s very direct with the American people, yadda yadda yaddam, this is a VRWC conspiracy, etc. ad hominem Bush sucks!”
OK, then… That was a great defense, a plus on volume, but a big negative on ANY FREAKIN’ TYPE OF ANSWER. Seriously, if I was working for Kerry, I’d be pissed since the guy doesn’t give his people anything to work with. Hell, it’d be easier to campaign for the guy if he came out and said “I hate America, I plan to run it into the ground, admire my hair, I was in freakin’ VIET-NAM, man!”
