Plan for the future
Yay!! I figured out what I am going to do. Number 1, I am going to use ASP. I am going to do this mostly for the reason that I’ve done some before and I have a better idea of VBScript/JScript/ASP than I do of anything to do with PHP. Number 2, keep the amount of stuff that is dynamic to a minimum. Basically, I am going to do the side menu using server side includes, pulling in a master menu list so that I only have to update one menu file and it will propagate to everywhere else in the site. Hopefully, this will be the simplest and easiest way to do stuff.
Also, I figured out something. I have been sitting here for the past couple of nights trying to beef up some of the content on the new pages, but it’s really tough. I get a lot more respect for writers everytime I try to sit down and write a couple simple paragraphs of text and just completely stall out before writing absolute drivel. Ah well, at least I am an engineer and I only have to write about what the numbers mean instead of making it all up like a psychologist.
